Will my Dad's position help or hurt??

My dad is faculty at Case Western and I was wondering in interviews whether or not I should ever bring this up.... I could see it going both ways-- as either I am only interested in research because it is what he does, or I would have a good background/insight into the field.

I'm curious what you all think.... thanks

You shouldn't bring it up, because faculty will already know.
