So I applied later than I wanted to, my mailing date was end of august and I took the DAT Sept 3rd and my science scores were average but my PAT score was horrible. On all the practice tests I was getting 20+ and on the actual, I did poorly.

My GPA is 3.4, and I am not a traditional applicant. I withdrew from college after four years and then went back 3 years later after being introduced to the dental field. I have been a certified orthodontic asst for 4 years now, finished my BS in biomedical science and continued with EC's.

I received one rejection letter 2 weeks ago and I am definitely retaking the DAT but I can retake it beginning of dec and I dont know if the schools will still consider me at that point....Should I retake it in Dec or wait til early next spring and reapply????

most schools will not accept a December DAT, you should call each individual school to inquire. What were your exact scores, a breakdown would be nice.
