Congresswoman Speier survived Jonestown if I remember correctly. She was shot and nearly died at the landing zone.

Speier is an idiot and always has been. The fact she has been elected repeatedly says alot to sad decline of America.

Wasnt she a staffer to Congressmen Ryan when they brought him down with AK-47s in Guyana??

I think that is how she was elected or something.

Doesnt anyone ever wonder WHY Congressmen Ryan and Willie Brown etc were so concerned at Jonestown?? Because they funneled TONS of tax payer dollars into the Peoples Temple Ag Project!

The whole tale is beyond the pale.

Thanks for the link. I would hope that a bill which saves Medicare dollars while simultaneously ending unethical physician behavior could garner some bipartisan support and succeed. Hopefully it won't be totally quashed by lobbying from urology and other specialties using the Stark IOAS exception to make bank.

She was in Guyana. It's amazing she survived that day.

Jim Jones is kind of how I picture what you look like LADoc. Sitting there in sunglasses, giving out orders to the minions.

This has potential to change some things in pathology for the better. If ever you wanted things to change, this is the time to get on the phone and call congress to support this bill.

It would help get rid of some waste but not sure it would change things in pathology much. Looks like the damage has been done with all the TC cuts. Plus, you are just back to client billing in those 33 states where it is legal and it will mean far less specimens collected. The nice thing will be seeing Old Joe in the unemployment line. Didnt he make some comment about pathologists heading toward the bread lines?

Crazy coincidence. Relating this topic thread to some people at lunch one of them actually new the late Con. Ryan and said that it was well known fact he and Speiers were lovers.

This has all the makings of awesome movie, dont know why Hollywood hasnt picked up on it yet...snap! oh yeah they are left wingers, nm. Bury the truth and all that.

Yes I am a bit Jim Jones but perhaps not in the manner you might think. I have minions but damn minions are never the sharpest tools in the shed, you constantly have to be watching what they are doing. Hopefully they will perfect the whole drone/robot thing so I can move on the automated minions.

I dont care if they slept together or not. It happens. I've worked at some Payton Place labs over the years with pathologists sleeping with techs and other underlings creating a lot of tension and even lawsuits  And it wasnt just male pathologists. Worked at one with some tattooed up biker pathologist chick who constantly caused drama. I will never understand workplace romance/lust. It wont end well. I mean goddamn, go out and meet people for god's sake.

If Speiers helps kill off in-office labs, I applaud her. When we got rid of client billing in my state, a democrat from a the most liberal town in my state really helped us out. Whether it will make a huge difference for the pathology market is debatable.

Come on LADoc the media has been pretty hard on Anthony Weiner. Its funny, that lady Weiner was sexting lives in Princeton Indiana which is north of where I live and not far from where that serial killer pathologist was living.
