Does anyone have any idea or possibly experience with having to make changes with your PTCAS application after you submitted it? I made the mistake of putting classes in my prereqs that I don't need for most of my designated schools, and these classes are really hurting my gpa. It is my own fault since I rushed through my applications to get them in by the nov 1st deadline, and now I realize that I should not have included these classes in my list of prereqs! Does anyone know if ptcas will remove them from my prereqs or is it too late?

As far as I know, PTCAS requires you to list EVERY class you've ever taken regardless of whether its a requirement or not. For example, I had to list all of my previous nursing school classes even though they don't count. And if you didn't list them, PTCAS would require that your app be updated with those classes once they saw that your transcripts didn't match what you entered.

If you are worried about entering in the wrong classes for your PTCAS prereq GPA, don't. PTCAS requires you to enter a standard list of prereq classes that may be different from your programs. Most programs won't even look at that GPA because if you look closely at various programs, their requirements are different. For example, some schools want general chem only, but other schools will allow you to swap organic chem for general, etc. Each program will evaluate their own prereq GPA if it differs from the list PTCAS goes by. Hope that helps.
