will schools personally notify you when they receive your application?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Will schools notify you when they receive your application and begin to start reviewing?

Most schools have secondaries... So, that will be their way of notifying you. They will send an email that says "we've received your app. Here is the secondary for you to complete. give us your moneyyyyyz!"

Fewer schools will update you with the review process. Off the of my head, I remember Western, Case Western, and Iowa being REALLLLLLY good about keeping you updated. The rest of the schools all kind of just ignore you until they offer an interview or reject you.

The only sign of a school's office actually working with my app was the "application received" email and my check being cashed. haha!

Best of luck.

Baylor notified me that they received my app. That was through TMDSAS though.

Funny, Case is the only school I never heard back from at all except an email confirming they got my fee.

Some schools sent application complete emails, some didn't, a few sent regular mail letters.

Did you get anything from UTHSCSA and Houston? I got an email from Baylor too but nothing from the others.

Yeah, I was primarily talking about all of the SDN and Facebook updates from Case. Didn't really get too many emails from them though, haha!
