Will they let me know if they can not accept me?

Check if the websites of the schools you are interested have minimum requirements posted. As long as you meet those, you have a shot.

If they don't have anything posted, focus on taking the prerequisite classes they have listed, keep your GPA > 3.0, aim for 70+ composite on the PCAT, get work experience, and volunteer.
 
Do most pharmacy schools let you know if you can not be accepted or do they pretty much not contact you as a way of letting you know?

Of the schools I was rejected by, about half of them told me via letter that I was not accepted. A little less than the other half just never let me know.
