As you guys might remember, I'm a non-trad with a low GPA. I should be applying with a 3.0 cum and a 2.9 sci and a 4.0 in 61 credits of post-bacc (all sci except for 9 hrs). I realize the DAT is huge for me. How important is it for my scores to arrive with the app? Let's hypothetically say that if the scores arrived by July, I think I could have awesome scores. But, if I take it early enough for the scores to arrive with the app, I feel that I'm rushing things. I realize that they usually wait for the scores, but with my GPA's I'm a little paranoid.

They'll just hold onto your app until they receive the scores before reviewing. July is not late at all to get your scores in by, so you should be fine. Just submit your app next week and get it over with so you can concentrate on the DAT.

Agreed, most schools won't even look at your application before you pay them the application fee. So it's up to you, you can probably delay those fee payments till your DAT scores get there.

Get everything in and done except your DAT's. It takes weeks to process and you wont be behind at all by taking the DAT in July (I took mine in August and still had many early interviews). Don't wait on the scores. Even if your file sits untouched for awhile, at least it will be ready to go once your DAT's are in, rather than sitting in the AADSAS system behind thousands of other apps.
