Hi everyone and thanks for taking time to read my question. Currently, I'm majoring in Occupational Health and in my school, its under the department of College of Health and Human Services. The classes have the "PH" prefix which means Public Health. My question now is: this College of Health and Human Services department also houses the Kinesiology, physical therapy degrees. In the future if I were to apply through AADSAS, will classes I take count towards my my "other sciences" gpa? since its under this department?

If not, I'm thinking of doing cytotechnology. I just dont want to do General biology so pls rule that out.

You know, you should call aadsas and ask them. It takes only a few minutes (far less than waiting for someone here to answer a question and you don't even know its the right or wrong answer) but everything will be very clear after you call them.

Def call Addsas. Public health? If it's social sciences, don't bother. I'm anthropology minors and my anthropology classes are not considered sciences besides my forensic osteology class which is basically really hard anatomy. You said occupational health/physical therapy which should have a lot of nutrition/anatomy classes which should be under sciences(even biology).

Look at this:
http://www.adea.org/dental_educatio...ocuments/2011 ADEA AADSAS Course Subjects.pdf

Or I'll just copy paste it here from ADDSAS

The following categories are all combined to calculate the applicant’s Other Science GPA:
_________________________________________________________________________________________
Agriculture
Animal Sciences
Astronomy
Audiology
Clinical Sciences (<----maybe this one???)
Dental Hygiene
Engineering
Health Technology
Geology
Kinesiology
Mathematics
Nursing
Nutrition
Physical Sciences
Plant Sciences
Sports Sciences
Statistics
