I know a lot of schools require two english classes for admission. I've already taken one that was called "Nature in Literature", from our English department. I want to take another class in our English department called "Intro to Film History". Despite it being about films, it's actually in the English department. Will it count as part of the English requirement, despite it being about films?

More important is the other name for the class (i.e. ENG 101, etc.).

And you might consider emailing a few admissions offices to see what they say.

The name of the class is ENGL 284: Intro to Film History. It doesn't have any other names.
