During college I worked every semester in order to support myself....some semesters 20 hrs/week, others 30-40 hrs/week. When I was working 30-40 hrs/week I was only taking 10-11 credits. Is this going to hurt me when adcoms see this? I still graduated in 4 years because I never took a summer off and took anywhere from 8-11 hrs/summer.

Also, my last semester I was only enrolled in 9 credits because I had a job (teaching chem) ans was conducting research/writing thesis. How will adcoms see this?

You will be fine. Chances are it will never be questioned. If it really concerns you which it seems to, just put your work experience on your app.

it's not gona hurt u as long as u do well in all your courses. the number of credits is not that important...if u take a lot of classes in one semester it is just a plus, but if u don't that's ok as long as u get A's or B's. all they care is ur GPA, DAT, and volunteer work or research...if u got all that u'll be fine.

Not a problem at all.

I did the same thing. Be sure to mention how much you worked while in school. They like that. It means you can burn the candle at both ends when you need to. 🙂
