My PhD thesis defense is in a week and a half. I have a prominent Harvard researcher coming in as my external examiner, so wish me luck!

By the way, for those of you who remember my previous discussions, I have received a postdoctoral fellowship award to continue research part-time (ful time in the summer) while in med school. So, in theory, it can be done...

Congrats on your accomplishments and best of luck on your upcoming defense. Don't get too stressed out about it...you wouldn't have gotten this far if your committee and thesis adviser thought you weren't ready.
