Hi guys,
I have decided to withdraw my application because I am not ready to take the DAT yet. So I have a few questions I wanted to ask, any advice is greatly appreciated!

1. Is there any consequences in withdrawing my app? Like, would it look bad if I am applying next year?

2. Would I have to get new LOR and write a new PS since they probably didn't even look at my application yet?

3. Should I withdraw formally or just leave it be? I already submitted my application and the schools are just waiting for my DAT scores.

Thanks

you should withdraw formally. call up the schools and ask if they want a letter, an email or if the phone call is enough to withdraw. i doubt they will remember you next year when you submit another app, but i think withdrawing is the professional thing to do.
