I called a certain school to withdraw my application and they wanted an email telling them what school I was accepted to. I found it kind of odd.
Anyone else experience this? If so, how did u respond?

Whoa that's a first. Hmm I'd respond honestly and just tell them. Maybe they're offering scholarship $$?!

hmm, if declining a school's offer should we tell them where we are accepting an offer from, or just write a sincere email gratefully declining?

The strange thing is is that I'm not supposed to interview until February. Their wish is my command .

Temple has a form in their acceptance packet that asks the same question

I had this same experience at every school I withdrew from. The schools are merely accumulating statistics so they can form a general picture of the type of applicant that typically chooses their program. Just tell them the truth so that you can help them obtain accurate statistics.

My email read something like this:

Subject: Declining Acceptance

"Thank you so much for your offer of admission to the dental program!
However after much deliberation, I believe that ________ is the right school for me.
Thanks again for your time and your offer!"

Sincerely, __________

I hope this helps! Congrats on your acceptance!!
