potential for scholarships that could sway the applicant would be my guess
 
For what reasons should an applicant not withdraw from other schools after receiving an acceptance at a top choice?
If you would not attend school B even if offered a full ride scholarship there, that would be a reason to withdraw after an acceptance to school A.

Oh I understand that. Do they notify AAMC when they withdraw your APP?

Why would this matter? The only thing that matters is that the school you don't want to go to knows that you don't want to go to it. Whether the AAMC knows sooner or later doesn't matter.
