How have you guys sent your notification that you are withdrawing your application? I was thinking of just sending out a letter to some of the schools (mainly MD programs).
Also, how long do you think is adequate notice to cancel an interview?

Just curious, Have you decided on KCUMB?

I'm not absolutely certain, there are still a few schools I'd like to hear from. But the acceptance from KCUMB has eliminated a few. Actually the day I found out I was accepted, my husband found out that his work opened three management positions in the KC area, for which he is very qualified. That got us both pretty excited for KC. Right now it is on the top of my list and if he gets one of those jobs then it will stay number one. I have been debating it, but I think I am still going to go to the KCOM interview. I hate to limit myself and I have never seen their campus or town so I hate to base my decision on the word of others (as far as location and whatnot). At the same time I don't want to waste anyone's time.
If I get interviews at OSU and MU then things will probably change because they are both in awesome locations and less expensive.

I think sending a letter or e-mail would be sufficient. I would at least give 2 weeks to cancel interview, but longer would be nicer so they are likely to be able to fill that spot with someone else.

If they communicated with you via email regarding secondary application and interview invite then email it is. It depends on the method they communicated with you throughout the application process. That's how I would do it. There is a no right or wrong way to do it. It is polite either way.
