Hi all,
I'm in a situation. I registered for a course thinking it would be more advanced than my previous coursework; however, I realized after the first week that it was very similar and even more elementary than what I had learned prior--this was not evident on the syllabus.
I was going to drop the course as a result; unfortunately, I was told that the last day to drop was yesterday and that I would have to withdraw with a W grade.
As I really do not want to continue the course ( I have taken 2 similar statistics courses and performed well), what should I do? Should I stick it out? It's an applied stats course ; I was hoping that it be more advanced than my previous coursework (I had taken mathematical and business stats), but I was wrong.
I'm concerned because I have several withdrawals from undergrad ( total 10 with a medical semester withdrawal that had 5 courses and the others were due to other extenuating circumstances).
Your thoughts would be appreciated as I haven't withdrawn in 2 years and have gotten As in science classes (biophysics, biochemistry, etc)
