They'll understand if you decide to withdraw your application. Just call them ASAP and tell them you're withdrawing as a courtesy.

oh, not really...i don't think it's still "okay". They'll "dislike" you, so they'll put a "bad" mark on your overall app account so other schools can see. It works just like how bad credit works.

Okay, so in my position I did AADSAS before i did my DAT scores. I took a mock kaplan and did very poorly, so i assumed i wouldn't do well. However, i did well enough to score interviews, such as at Penn. Of course i am over joyed that i am getting interview invites, but i applied to A LOT of schools (11, in fear of not getting in). Is it okay with withdraw from a school? Or will they really leave a bad mark on my AADSAS/etc and make the schools that are interested in me not as interested? I do not want to take someone else's interview or potential applicant spot if i definitely know id rather go to the other schools who have interviewed me. Sorry for my whiny post...

I did the same thing and I will definitely be withdrawing from nearly half of the schools I applied to. I say withdraw and leave the spots open for others.
