Hey SDN quick question that I couldn't find elsewhere..

If I withdrew from a 3 "credit" Orgo class, should I still put 3 under the "Semester Hours" column? I believe so. However, since I did not receive "credit" for the class and it had no impact on my GPA, should I put 0 under the "Semester Hours" column?

Thanks in advance! 👍

What does it say on your transcript?

I assume zero though since you didn't earn credits. I'm not sure though.

On my transcript it's listed like this:

CHEM 223 Organic Chem A Lec/Disc 3.00 0.00 W

So it shows a 3, and then a 0. The first being how much the class is worth, and then the second number being how many credits I earned(?). On all my other classes the two numbers match, except this one. I'm not sure if AACOMAS is asking for what the class is worth, or how many hours I earned...

This is what the instructions dictate:

"Semester Hours: Enter the number of semester hours for each course, including failures. All entries must be made in semester hours."

Well, in order for an F to count against your GPA wouldn't an F have to be on a course that has hours?

So what I'm saying is, in your case the 3 corresponds to credits attempted and the 0 is credits earned. I am guessing they want credits earned. I put my W as 0 credit hrs.

Hm.. that does make sense. Thank you baxt and DoctorSynthesis! I will change mine to 0 I suppose.

Bax, did you submit yours? Did AACOMAS change the number? Thank you. If anyone else has experience with this let me know!
