I thought it doesn't go computer until after August! But the MCAT main page says:

  • Registration for the paper version of the August 2006 MCAT is now open.
  • Registration for the computerized MCAT for August 2006 will open in early June 2006.
So there is a computer one in August?

I'm taking the Kaplan prep course for the paper and pencil one. I wonder if the computer one is different enough that studying for the paper and pencil would hurt me if I wanted to do computer.

Computerized sounds less painful, somehow...

CBT has been available at limited number of test sites the past few test times, this one will be no exception. next year all sites will be CBT

actually CBT will be offered at ALL Thompson locations nation wide this August, not just limited few.

I just found this thread, and I am glad I did cos I am going through the same dilemma, CBT or paper and pencil? I called the MCAT people she said people usually wanna take paper and pencil. I am confused as to which one I should take. Cos I am pretty sure it reduces the time for bubbling in answers and more importantly changing them. I wish I knew someone whose taken it.
