Wondering something about AZ

I have a mail-man that has lost quite a few pieces of mail for me.
I called AZ to see if they had mailed anything to me, and explained about my mail-man problem. I also told them that I interviewed there about 1.5 months ago.
She didn't ask me my name and said "we have not mailed anything to you".

I was wondering: how does she know?

Caller id? I have had the same thing happen to me. I called tufts to see if my deposit arrived, and without me telling my name she told me that they just recieved it that day.

I am sure there is no caller-id. Sounds like basic inconsideration to me. Granted, perhaps corissa was having a bad day, or you were the 20th personal to call her (possible, not likely)...having said that, it seems Arizona should treat people better...

Be sure other school secretaries are also sometimes less than classy when dealing with applicants - doesnt make it any less offensive - but it does happen.

To be honest, the secretary wasn't rude to me on the phone. I was just wondering how she knew.
