Whoa I can finally relax a little bit. I just recieved my acceptance from PCOM!! CLASS OF 2010. Whoa its a crazy feeling...excitement mixed with a little fear. Can't Wait until Fall 2006!! Has anyone started looking for apts?

congrats!....and definitely check out what the MCAT prep books are going for on ebay....you stand to make a lot of $$$...my kaplan books sold for nearly 300$ last year

for apartment stuff you may want to check out the PCOM Class of 2009 thread from the search engine, or just do a search for "PCOM, apartments"....there was some solid advice in that thread last year

MCAT <25 GPA ~3.4 Sci GPA ~3.2

Lots of EC's. Officer in 4 clubs at one time. Shadowed 20 Physicians from Radiation Oncology to Occupational Medicine Docs at NASA. Two LOR's from PCOM alumni.

I think my EC's and LOR's helped me out extremely! I took the MCAT twice also...last August 2004/2005. Whew its over now.

Hey congrats on your acceptance, but to any PCOMer's out there...Do we need a laptop for classes?

No labtop is neccessary and probably pretty useless. They have wireless but it can be slow in the mornings. Also take histology before you get here (get a B or better) you can take a really easy test during orientation and have 25% of your grade taken care of. the test is designed to be simple and you need an 80 or better to test out. The grade becomes your grade whenever there is a histology pratical or quiz. It may my life so much easier

great....if i interviewed on the same day as you (12/14/05) and you already received your acceptance on Thursday (12/22/05) and I'm guessing you're in Va cause of your profile---I am guessing I didn't get in because I'm from PA, about 2 hours from PCOM and havn't gotten anything in the mail and plus my interview sucked...I mean they probably send it out in a bunch and if you're further than me from PCOM and you already got your acceptance..the probability of me getting accepted is not so great...

Marsha Williams and Dr. Davis (Pediatrician) I believe. It was great because I was talking about how i want to do Pediatrics and at the end of the conversation she said "I am a Pediatrician". HOT!
