What about the annoying roommate that kept you from sleeping all last year? I think they'd just see you as a complainer. Usually it's the rich kids that get by, b/c they don't need to work, and their parents pay for their luxurious singles and Kaplan classes. Admissions won't know that.
I just want to see how many hours everyone is working along with their couse load.
19 credit hours/ 10-20 work hours a week.
Do you think dental schools will take this into consideration?
I'm done but when I was in school I took anywhere from 9-15 units while working 40 hours a week.

jk...why the hell can't you say you were working????I'm guessing he can't list his work hours because he was paid under the table.
I work 40/week and take 2 night classes at a time. I'm getting tired.

I feel your pain bro...but I still don't understand why he can't say he worked even if he was paid under the table. It's dental school, not the IRS????
I worked 50-60 hours a week during my first two years of college...and it shows
Oh yeah, full course loads of 13-18 credits during of course

In the fall, I always worked about 30 hours/week with 15-17 credits. I played softball, so my spring was a little different; same credit load, but in Jan and Feb we had practice so I worked 20 hours, then in March and April (when we had games) I could only work 10-15 hours.
Now, I have gone back to complete pre-reqs while working full-time. I use my vacation time for classes. Not fun, but necessary.
I definitely think that schools will take this into consideration. If you can do well in school while working, it shows good time management. Also, you gain a lot of beneficial skills in the workforce.
