Work-intern Abroad??

Hi all, im a senior who has decided to take a year off and apply for the 08 class. I was wondering if anyone could help me find a job or paid internship abroad during that year off. I heard IAESTE from someone, and i looked into it, it turns out my school does not have any affliation with it, which means i cannot apply. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks.

Ps. im a bio major, with a background in biochemistry.
