What course of study do you have to undertake if you want to work for pharmaceutical companies doing testing for their drugs to see if they pass trials and such? Thanks.
Nietzsche is right. You're more than likely talking about Pharmacoepidemiology. You can get jobs in pharmaceutical companies by studying epidemiology, yes. But when you have honed into the specific field of Pharmacoepi with coursework, research experience and the specialized degree, you're even so much more competitive to work as a pharmacoepidemiologist in a pharmaceutical company (or in similar positions).
