Working through pharmacy school?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I just started my first year of pharmacy school two weeks ago and I am starting two work-study positions this week. It won't be a lot of hours and the money earned will basically be pocket change, but I feel very nervous when I don't have some type of income.

My grades are already a touch lower than what they were in pre-pharm, so if the job thing gets in the way, I have already given myself permission to drop them.

I am most certainly not supporting any kids with the money I'm earning. I seriously don't know where you parents find the energy to do all of this. You must be wonderwomen.

Thank you KKelloww. FBC, kids are amazing motivators. When you have children to support, you find hidden stores of energy and inspiration. BTW, what makes you think I'm a woman? Men raise children too. 😉

I have a 2 year old daughter, a wife, a job at Walgreens, and I'm attending a three year school. It's not that bad. Of course, I'm only in my third week and I haven't actually started at Walgreens yet. School's starting to kick it though with three tests this week.

I guess I just assumed. And we all know what assuming does, right? It makes an ass out of u and me ... ass u me.

Insert foot in mouth.

I guess it's just the joys of cyberspace. Most folks think I am a man with the name Chris.

Apologies-
Christina
