Hey guys

For those of you that have done the USMLE World self assessments, are the questions in them different than those that are in the qbank?

I am still going through the qbank, have about 80% left, and my test is in 3 weeks... I intend on taking NBME 7 and don't know if I'll have time for the two world assessments... do you guys recommend that I force them into my schedule somehow?

The self-assessments are different questions than the ones in QBank.

As for if you should work them in, I'll let someone else offer an opinion.

Most of the questions are different, but some are similar. All in all, they are the same caliber of question as is in the Qbank. Maybe slightly easier (my average on the UWSA blocks is about 5% higher than my overall average on the UW Qbank.) I would take them if you are wanting a "real" 3-digit score to gauge your progress, but if you have 80% of UW Qbank left, I would concentrate on busting that out before adding more questions to do (i.e. UWSAs.)

I would try to work in one of the UWSAs. I found them helpful. Since you have 3 weeks, maybe do NBME 7 at end of week one and a UWSA at end of week 2. In between focus on UW qs and studying. Just my thoughts...
