I send out my AADSAS application on October 4. I havn't heard of anything from AADSAS yet. My school pre-health office ask me if I want them to send out my recommendation letters. Should I send my LOR to the school now even then havn't received my App? Should I send my DAT scores also? Thanks everyone.

Heck ya have the LORs sent! I even recommend having the LORs sent BEFORE filling out AADSAS, if possible. Typically the LORs are what hold up applications.

Schools don't care what they receive first. Once they receive something from the application cycle, they'll create a folder for you. It doesn't matter if that is a check, a photo, AADSAS application, DAT scores, or LORs.

Secondly, did you have schools marked to receive your DAT scores when you took the exam? If so, those scores should have already been sent to the schools you had marked. If you want different or additional schools to receive those scores, then you'll have to add the schools in order to have official DAT scores sent.

Did this make sense?

Thanks a lot. I got to ask my school to send the LOR out for me now. I've been very worried about my App. It seems to me lots of people are having interviews now, but I'm still waiting. I don't know if it's too late. Thanks.

Do LORs go out to AADSAS or to each individual school?

In my school, our pre-health office will sent them directly to individual schools.

dont forget your DAT score.
also, sent them all your LOR asap
cos some schools wont look at your application till it is completed

LOR should be sent to AADSAS, then AADSAS will forward them to the schools you applied. That what I did. Correct me if I'm wrong.

It can happen either way you prefer.

My school committee sent the committee letter AND the individual LORs to AADSAS in May, and I had no problem getting them to the schools.

Have the the pre-health office send the LORs direct to the schools.

I wouldn't bother with sending the LORs through AADSAS. Why deal with another middleman? It would only delay the LORs' transit further, with an additional chance that something else would go wrong, as a few others on this board have discovered to their dismay.
