I'm expecting to end up w/ a 3.84 this semester because of a B+ in Cell Bio (wtf). When I applied my cGPA was 3.91 and sGPA was 3.90. After this semester my cGPA would drop to a 3.90 and my sGPA to a 3.88. Do you guys think it's worthwhile to updates grades either to med schools I haven't gotten interviews at, or those I've interviewed at and haven't heard back from or was put on hold (many of which are my top choices right now)? On one hand the slight GPA drop may come off negatively and I don't think my GPA is really the problem in my app, but on the other some schools may be suspicious if I'm still in school but don't have fall grades. What do you guys think? See my mdapps for which specific schools I'm talking about.

If you're talking about Mayo, it is not worth it to sent grades. They said they only wanted experiences updates, etc. I'm kind of in the same boat as you. Maybe the other schools would want it. But what I would do instead, is talk about your extracurriculars if there's anything substantial. Write a story, and then tailor it to your letter for why you want to come to the school and how you'd be a benefit. But be very very specific. Especially with the other glorious schools you've interviewed at. Good luck
