Would anyone be willing to give me advice on my personal statement?

I know the application is a couple months away, but I was hoping to send my personal statement to a few professors in the next day or so that have agreed to writing me a letter of recommendation.

If anybody would be willing to help, I would be so appreciative if I could PM them my personal statement.

no because I used to be threatened by an SDN-user aka editor/proofreader (foolish me a year ago) if I didnt behave (kinda trolling his post) because this specific person has my almost done draft.


to OP, if you must, choose the dental students (not the accepted, and most certainly not the predental) because who knows if the pre dental just correct ur PS's grammar and use it as "reference". you need someone to help you restructure/emphasize/change focus if necessary.

Well this was just my first draft so if the ones I sent it to are using mine as a reference then they won't have gotten very far yet. From this site and one other I've gotten about 4 or 5 either dental students or dentists that have offered me a lot of good help and guidance with where to take it. So those will be the ones I continue to work with as I continue making edits and changes. But thank you for the heads up and words of caution!
