There are a lot of Pharmaceutical companies out there and companies that supply for those pharmaceutical companies. I'm wondering if it would look good on our applications to pharmacy schools if we were to be lab assistants? As in having duties like preparing chemicals, and chemical maintenance, etc. What do you guys think?

Of coarse, it has some relevance and you can spin it to make it look good for you.

my only advice is to gear it towards research if/when you get your pharm D. I know a few people who want to do research for pharmaceutical companies when they graduate so you can always say you're interested in research and this gave you the chance to see a different route other than retail.

imo, i think adcom's are more impressed when they interview someone and they show interest in an area OTHER than retail. but make sure you know what you're talking about.
