I took the MCAT on 8/23 of this year. I'm now a junior. If I decide to do an MPH program before I do medicine, would my MCAT scores still be valid?

2011-2012 = junior year
2012-2013 = senior year
2013-2015 = MPH
Then I'd ideally start medical school in Fall of 2015, would my scores be valid when taking them during 2011?

Try to get admitted to an MD/MPH program, then it won't matter. Your scores wouldn't be valid for 2015. I think it's a 3 yr rule.

Your scores wouldn't be valid by the year 2015....schools don't accept scores older than 3 years.

Oh, and you better not have to take the 2015 MCAT which involved a new format...good luck with this new format.

I just realized though, even though 2013 - 2015 is a hypothetical MPH program, I would apply during summer of 2014. That's within 3 years, so are they still valid since it's 3 years of the application cycle but not 3 years of starting medical school?

It's usually indicated as 3 years from test to matriculation, not application.
