I'm from NC, and I'm flying up to NYC to do three interviews in one week... a Monday, Tues, and Fri.

I recently got an interview to Albany, and naturally I'd like to save money and cut down on flights.

Would it be completely, utterly crazy to try to go up to Albany on Weds and Thurs, and be back in Manhattan by Fri? I grew up in New York, so it won't be hard logistically to get from one place to another, but would it be just too much?

Thanks-
Sar

It doesn't sound insane. I'm sure there are regular flights from any of the NYC airports and from Newark airport to Albany....I'm sure there are trains/buses too but I don't know details on those.

No doubt that would be physically tiring. Interviews (especially if these are your first) are draining. The last thing you want to do is go to the last couple drained and thus project this negative energy during the interview. However, some people would have no problem just keeping going. It's therefore a pretty personal evaluation. Whats more important to you? Do you think you could cope? And is the saving worth it to you?

I did 3 NY ones in a row last year and it was very tiring but worked out ok. It just depends on you.
