Would “lab technician” count as part of the “research/lab” category in the activity section of the AMCAS primary application?

By “lab technician”, I mean someone working in a lab at a clinic, such as Patient First, that runs patient samples. I know this isn’t research but would it count for the “lab” portion of “Research/Lab”?

I would label it employment - nonclinical.
