Do you think it would be worth sending an anonymous email to the admissions office to get the OK from them or is that way too neurotic?If this was something unrelated (you took a course out of interest in the subject be it Swahili or folk dance or costume design) and did not pass, but still met the requirements for graduation and still have a decent GPA (which failing a pass/fail course does not affect, then you should be fine.
This may be completely dumb and overkill but I made a burner email and told them about my situation (without identifying details). They might say they need to know who I am to make a judgment call in which case this will be completely useless, but otherwise, if they say they don't rescind over stuff like that, everything's good, and if they tell me the grade is grounds for being axed, I at least have some time to process the news. I'm glad both you and LizzyM think I'll likely be okay.Anonymous email? Don't they know you if they sent you an offer?
I'd rather know early than find out after you matriculate. Admissions staff and faculty hate surprises like this. I don't think this is going to hurt you at all, but be safe about it and disclose it.
