Just finished my 3rd semester at a CC. I intend to transfer to a 4yr college so I have only taken general education classes for my major.
My grades are as follows:
B
F
A
C
C
B
NC
B
C

For the upcoming term, I will try to get As or Bs.

Could you describe about the serial letter A, B, C? I am interested to know.

Shouldn't you be more concerned about the F? Before we start talking med school, let's figure out why your grades are poor.

Focus on decent GPA and upward trend. Don't mind the other details.

If I were you, I'd plan to take a postbacc. Yeah 3 C's arent completely dooming (I had 2 C's and 2 W's) but that F and NC along with it is troublesome. From now on, think A's and B's. If you're getting more C's or NC, do a post bacc.

As mentioned above, you need to try to get ALL A's and high B's to have a shot at getting into medical school. Right now chances are nil.

Good luck to you OP.

yeah OP -- it's not looking so hot.
I'd first worry about pulling your grades up enough to nab a transfer acceptance before med school.

I disagree. OP you need A's, and the occasional B when you fall short. If you consistently keep getting grades like what you have right now, then you shouldn't do a post bacc (at least not to help your med school chances). You should think about a different career.

Here is the bigger problem OP. You got those grades at CC. There is already bias against CCs at some med schools. You need to reevaluate what you are doing wrong and get As from now on. Good luck.
