Would submitting my primary this week (third week of June) still be early?

I'm finishing up my AMCAS primary and hope to submit it this week. If I pre-write my secondaries and submit them immediately after receiving them (probably late July) would I be considered an early complete applicant?

Are you early? Depends on what "early" means and if being "early" really matter much. You wouldn't be compared to those that finish early/mid July. Are you late? No! Typically, if you submit after Labor Day you're "later."

Submitting end of July/early August is more than fine though and it will not hinder your application chances much at all. Don't worry about it.

Yes. Please spread the word.

Yes. Last cycle I felt like I had to get everything asap. It stinks to look back and know you are being judged over the year for something you submitted a long time ago. Therefore, you need to make sure you have it right as can be because once it is in, you're stuck with it for the cycle.

This year I am taking it much more relaxed, but still early.

Even if I submitted later my first time, it probably would not have changed too much though.

It took me a year of learning from mistakes and getting more feedback to really get a sense of how I need to write and reflecting on my experiences. Even then after getting good feedback, I totally changed my essay again within the last two weeks to where I know it is as close to right as possible and getting even more positive feedback. Same with work and activities writing.

I don't want to have that regret of looking at my essays over the course of the cycle and know it isn't where it needs to be because this process is so competitive.
