Would taking science classes in the Fall help me this app cycle?

I graduated in the spring of this year and am applying to DO schools this cycle. My verified GPA should be around 3.3 when I apply so it's making me consider taking science classes through my local community college. I won't have my app complete until mid-September. I'm currently finishing up 2 science classes at the moment, and will receive A's in both. Should I just go ahead and drop money ($1.5-2k) to take 3-4 classes that I know I can ace this fall? How much would that help me this cycle if only 2 classes finish mid-October and the rest finish in December? Are academic updates through AACOMAS or through letters with new grades that useful if I'm still awaiting responses post-secondaries or post-II's?

If they are really useful, I might just stack my fall with science classes (that I know I can do well in) to maximize gains. Thanks in advance everyone!

A semester of A's will work wonders if you have no II's by Jan/Feb.

Perfect! I was on the fence about dropping a little more money for classes, but it's a drop in the bucket if given a chance to become a doctor. Would the best way to inform these schools be through AACOMAS grade updates?

Worst case scenario you come out looking shiny for next cycle. GL OP

That's actually very true. Nothing to lose if I'm able to do well in those classes, everything to gain, so I'm going to sign up for them in a week. Thanks!
