Would the end of May be considered "late" to apply via TMDSAS?

Just wondering, considering the system opens for submission on May 3...

No, I think most schools don't start interviewing until July. Late May is still very early. I didn't know how important applying early was... I wasn't verified through TMDSAS until September 1st 😱...

No, that's actually quite early. I didn't submit until early August and ended up being ok. I would suggest you apply before July 1 if you want early interviews though. good luck!

End of May is still early...very early.

For others who may be applying slightly later in the cycle, in my opinion, if you're waiting around for MCAT scores to be released, just submit your application as early as possible without the MCAT scores and let TMDSAS get started with the verification process. It'll potentially save you a few weeks of time.

Nah that would be fine; I applied mid-late July and still had interviews at all of the state schools before the end of October, in time for the first round of acceptances.

Late May is by no means "late." This last cycle I submitted to TMDSAS in mid-June and I was contacted for interviews in late July.

No matter when you submit, make sure your essays are polished and activity timeline complete. No sense shooting yourself in the foot just to get it in early. Good luck. . .
