Genetic Susceptibility and Toxicogenomics: the course focuses on genes that are affected due to environmental exposures and how these genes are analyzed (PCR/genomic sequencing). I would say that the class was about 80% biology; the professors were part of the medical school department and the course was offerred through my school's environmental health studies department.

Transdisclipinary Investigations across multiple Evolutionary scales: this course was offered through my school's advanced seminar department. The course focused on the interdisclipinary aspect of evolution (biology, cultural, psychological, etc). However, we got to pick what we wanted to focus on for our term papers (i focused on the biology and mathematical aspects of evolution: the course was at least 50% biology). THe professor was a biology and environmental studies professor.

Do you think AMCAS would classify these two courses as BCPM science classes? Your help would be appreciated. Also, is there any way i could directly contact amcas and ask if these courses do?

Thanks again for your help. I really appreciate it.

Yes, I would classify them as Biology and I highly doubt they would change it. They seem really lenient on the classifications.

Of course, if you got bad grades in them and don't want them to factor into your BCPM, you can probably get away with pawning them off as an engineering class or something.
