I completely forgot to get the contact information of my two interviewers last week. I want to send them thank you emails, but I don’t remember their names and I can’t find them on the department website.

I was thinking of calling the school and asking for their emails, but I’m nervous that doing so would leave a bad impression.

Should I call or just not send a thank you email and hope for the best?

Why would usc care about a thank you note. Thought that was like common courtesy after an interview?

Everyone handed business cards and said “hope to hear from you soon.”
Oh I remember ya at the end they said that. I was under the impression that was more for letters of interest/intent. Didn’t get any contact info for my faculty or student interviewers so didn’t think to send anything.

oh really? My faculty def gave her card. Weird. I am sure you will be fine.

It’s merciful to the applicants, and more schools should do this. This process is grueling enough, thank you notes are unnecessary (of course you’re grateful, some things needn’t be said) and just give premeds yet another thing to agonize over.
