Would volunteering as a medical assistant count as community service?

There is a question on one of my secondaries that asks "What was your most memorable community service activity and how did it impact you?" Would volunteering as a medical assistant count?

probably not, it would count as Health care employment, which is great! Just not community service. Community service implies service not.. profit lol.
