Since the topic of donating body parts has come up, I am going to do some personal fine-tuning.

For those of you who voted "yes" in the earlier poll on kidney donation, I would like to hear how many of you would consider donating your bollocks? Which one would you be okay with donating? Who would you give it to ???

If I were to remove a part of my body, I would be decreasing both my bodily health and my psychological health.
Do you guys really feel that bad about where you stand in this process? That you would cut away a part of yourself and decrease your health just for the sake of ending the misery you're in right now?
I would have to feel like **** to go down that road and I probably would not end up happy with the decision.

I suppose the answer may be different for men, but women get oophorectomies all the time without suffering "decreased bodily and psychological health". One can live a normal, healthy, functional life without an ovary. You make it sound like they'd be chopping off limbs or something.

I don't know if I'd personally do it though.

You sound like you might try to sew on three. I guess that'd be pretty cool... if you could create an implant and have a third ball. It might be a bit too cramped down there for three. Some pants can give me issues with just two down there.

I share this problem w/ you and its impact upon my life quality has been more than extensive. I can't barely fit into a car b/c my "size" below the waist gets in the way OF EVERYTHING. I am having chronic back pains b/c I have been dragging this "problem" around for so long.

I always see Extenze commercials on TV, but really wish they sold some Reduze.

In my defense, the only reason I asked this one question (and not the one about kidneys <-- that was by someone else) is because I wanted to poke fun at how painful this process feels at times. You ask a non-premed student, "would you donate a kidney to get into your grad program". I doubt you'd get nearly as many yes responses as you do among pre-meds. Its messed up that any of us should feel that stressed out by this process.

woa that totally changes things. I personally love my testicles, but I know that I would be equally happy with ovaries had I been born with them. However, making the change now is not only unlikely to be performed successfully, but also I would have no idea of what it would do to my mind.
I'm happy enough being a dude and an observer of dudettes. The other way around, imo, is not that much fun. "Crazy" females are far more entertaining than male "jerks".
