Would You Ever Take A Course in Parapsychology?

From what i hear, some big name schools still offer courses in parapsychology. If you had the chance, would you take one?

for my own interest, absolutely. I don't feel that for my pursuits it would be of benefit, but I like having information.

I doubt that any schools I have interviewed at has this course, but who knows.

Good thinking JackD! I'm in a Ph.D program in clinical so it's not really on the radar here, but I have always wanted to learn about paranormal phenomena from a true scientific perspective. My girlfriend and I have often talked about going so far as to actually wanting to buy a supposed haunted house if we ever had the chance.😱 Next to Paul Meehl, Peter Venkman (Bill Murray in Ghostbusters) has always been my favorite psychologist....

Sure, but I'd have audited it to keep it off my transcript since I only had about 11 psych classes and I wouldn't want that to stand out as one of my "electives".

If I had taken a ton though, I might take it for a grade. Not as a serious course, but in the sense that I also took dance classes and other "just for fun" things....it might be fun, so why not?

I think i would but i would be so skeptical that i would have trouble actually studying for the tests. I wouldn't want to cram knowledge in my head that was ultimately b.s.
