They aren't stupid, they just different reflect a different belief system. I am not trying to be hostile, but I wish more people could recognize that although they might not share the same beliefs as others, they shouldn't mock them and dismiss them.

I don't understand Islam, but that doesn't mean I should go around insulting the prophet Mohammed. A decent respect for other's beliefs should be expected as a modicum of human courtesy.
