Where on their website does it say that you have to have 800+ hours of volunteer experience? I have never heard/seen this before.
I was looking for it on the site, definitely doesnt say it. I have a hand out from the school for admission requirements, I will scan a copy of it and post it. Terri Cregg gave it to me at an Osteopathic seminar held at Univ. Michigan back in the winter.

800 hours is the average..so u dont have to have it..they do weight it alot tho

the thing they emphasize the most tho is GPA..

i had a meeting wit an academic advisor..and thats what she said.

What about out-of-state student? I have a good GPA but MCAT is pretty low. I retook it though.

He is right on the money.. I was wrong by saying minimum. The sheet says average students have 800 hours of volunteer services.

When i talked with Terri Cregg (adcom for MSU) she said that you need to have a ton of volunteer experience when you apply, they weigh it heavily.
