I need to decide very soon which Clinical Board Exam to take and have gone back and forth several times between the 2: WREB or SRTA.

BOTH are being offered at my school : SRTA late March, WREB late April

BOTH are accepted in the state which I plan to practice (Texas)

I figured I'd pose the question "Which one would you rather take and why?".

I would lean toward SRTA for 2 reasons. First, it is offered earlier, giving you more time for a retake if you need it. Second, I believe it offers the option of splitting the patient based and non-patient based exams to 2 separate weekends. I think that is an advantage because it allows you to be more focused than if you are squeezing everything into one weekend as WREB requires. Whatever you decide, know the candidate manual backward and forward, be EARLY and prepared, and know by heart what is a critical error vs. what is clinically acceptable. Good luck!
