ok I got a 4.0 again on the writing section then there is a mean score, just to confirm that is the mean score of all the test takers and not my actual score?

Yep, the mean score is simply the average writing score of all test-takers who have taken that exam. Nice work on the 4.0 - that's not easy to get! 🙂

@Bareitashvilli I hear you, and I feel the same way. But I think a lot of people don't realize that's it's not so much about writing the best essay of your life as it about being able to problem-solve under a time crunch.
