Hey guys, I plan on writing the DAT in November. Im currently doing research at school from 8am-4pm Mon-Fri and weekends off. I will have 4-5hrs/day on weekdays and 8-10hrs a day on weekends. When do you recommend is the best time to begin studying? I don't want to overstudy but at the same time September and October ill be in school so I will only have tome to review for about an hour per day. What do you guys think?

Why not take it before you start school? If you truly dedicate yourself to studying as much as you mention, you should be able to take the exam within 2 months. If you cram for a couple months and then review for an hour a day over the course of two months you will certainly forget things that will show up on the exam.

By the verb "writing," I'm guessing we're talking about the Canadian DAT here. The next time it is offered this year is in November--nothing in between.
