Writing your own LOR

So my group leader in africa where i did this medical volunteer program does not speak such good english so i dont think she would write a great rec, I wanted to know of any advice or tips you could give me to frame my own rec..thanx

Don't you think it might be better if you have someone translate what she wants to say into proper English? What you might want to say about yourself may not be what she wants to say about you -- I know I wouldn't want someone to write a LOR for him/herself and then sign my name to it. Give her the benefit of the doubt...

(I don' have the post in front of me, but I think remember you saying the person was a "she"... if not, replace all the "she" with "he." 🙂)
