I think the general rule with grades is that one or two bad ones (aka the exceptions) won't destroy your application. Obviously it's better not to have any, but getting a much better grade the second time is a good thing. Tons of W's wouldn't look good, even with the retakes, just like tons of C's, D's, etc wouldn't look good. Obviously nobody can give you a concrete answer unless they're the actual committee members looking at your application, but hopefully you can spin a story of learning and personal progress when explaining the W's on your transcript.
That being said though, I wouldn't worry about it now. You have the W's and you have the A's that replace them. Asking for opinions on how this will be seen is counterproductive since you could be focusing your energy on bolstering your application in other places. Focus on what you can be good at moving forward and don't dawdle too much on what's happened in the past. For what it's worth, I had 1 W on my transcript (later got a B+) and was accepted.
